Hamlet Act 5 Scene 1 Lines 168-223

Differences in Quarto 1

This line is from Quarto 1, I replacing ""and your water is a sore decayer of your whoreson dead body."

I chose to replace it in my text to add a little variation to one of the gravediggers witty lines. I would never think about changing any of the more recognizable lines that are a little later in the scene.

Q1 and Q2 are almost identical except for the ordering of some of the lines- Hamlet's madness is discuss a little later in Q1, and Q1 is obviously shorter.

Other notable differences:
Q2- "and now how abhorred in my imagination it is"
Folio- "and how abhorred my imagination is"

Line 200 F- "table" Q2- "chamber"

Dates were changed in the timeline between Q1 and Q2, this is discussed on another page.
